Greg Helton Appointed President and Managing Director, Aptina Japan

TOKYO - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Aptina announced today the appointment of Greg Helton to President and Managing Director of Aptina Japan. Helton is the first appointment to this role and will be responsible for directing Aptina's overall business, marketing and sales support services in Japan.

"Greg is a great addition to Aptina and brings over two decades of technology experience with an extensive career working in Japan and Asia," says David Orton, CEO, Aptina. "His leadership and experience will play a big part in our ongoing commitment to supporting our customers in Japan," he adds.

Helton, 47, has over 21 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with the majority of this experience serving in management roles overseeing activities in Japan and Asia. He served for the last decade as Corporate VP, and President at leading semiconductor companies in Japan.

Helton earned his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in electrical engineering at California Polytechnic State University.
