Donna Arp Named President of Encore Capital, LLC

DALLAS, Sept., 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Donna Arp has been named president of Encore Capital, LLC, a subsidiary of Dallas-based Encore Enterprises, Inc. With more than 28 years of finance and real estate investment experience, Arp will oversee debt and equity financing for real estate projects that meet Encore's investment criteria and scope. Arp joins Encore Capital from Realty Capital Partners, where she served as chief executive officer and president of Realty Capital Partners, an investment firm in Colleyville, Texas.

As president of Encore Capital, Arp is launching the Encore Opportunity Fund II, which is being formed as a real estate investment vehicle to co-invest with Encore Enterprises, Inc. and its subsidiaries. As Encore's third fund, the Encore Opportunity Fund II has a $150 million target with a "green shoe" option up to $250 million and is expected to close in fourth quarter 2009. Under Arp's leadership, Encore Capital is well positioned to take advantage of current real estate market opportunities. The $150 million Encore Opportunity Fund I closed in June 2009.

Arp graduated from Harvard Business School OPM Management and Finance with an emphasis in real estate finance. She holds a bachelors degree (summa cum laude) and a masters degree (magna cum laude) from Midwestern University. She was chairman of the board of Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine and has served on numerous non-profit and corporate boards.
