Mikasa Shoji Begins Distributing CELLCROSS@CELL LAN in USA - Appears in SecureWorld Expo
OSAKA, Japan, Sept. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Mikasa Shoji Co., Ltd., the electronics trading company headquartered in Osaka, Japan, announced the distribution of @CELL LAN, the two-dimensional wireless LAN system developed by CELLCROSS Co., Ltd., based in Tokyo, Japan, through Mikasa Shoji's subsidiary, Devicenet USA, Inc., of San Jose, CA,. @CELL LAN distribution will be focused in the U.S. market.
Until today, Mikasa Shoji has been providing new technology, IT products and IT solutions according to customers' needs. In today's business world, wireless LAN technology and wireless Internet connection services are growing more than ever. Due to the increase of wireless PC users, problems with interference of wireless signals and security have become an escalating issue.
The newest technology Mikasa Shoji will be unveiling and distributing in the U.S. is called @CELL LAN by CELLCROSS. @CELL LAN uses a special sheet, which makes two-dimensional communication possible. This new two-dimensional communication technology controls and limits an area for wireless LAN signals to travel by using a typical wired or wireless LAN and wireless Internet connection services. Users can access the network simply by placing wireless LAN-supported PCs on the Communication Sheet. In addition to requiring a simple ID and password to access the network, wireless Internet disconnects when PCs are removed from the Communication Sheet. Thus this two-dimensional communication technology enables even stronger security by controlling an area where PCs can access the network. Furthermore, @CELL LAN provides stable communication that does not disconnect signals or decrease communication speed. This innovative technology makes this system stand apart from other wireless products, as it is the only one of its kind in the market today.
Main Features of @CELL LAN
1. Secure
* Hackers cannot intrude even if ID and password are stolen
* Disconnects network by physically moving PC away
2. Stable Connection
* Connect to network simply by placing PC on communication sheet
* A stable connection environment, which does not decrease speed or
disconnect
3. Easy Installation
* Incorporated Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi card provides network connection with no
need for extra component or difficult setting changes
* No interferences between AP's, and no site survey required
@CELL LAN is already distributed within Japan since July 2008, but this is the first time it will be distributed internationally. CELLCROSS recognized Mikasa Shoji's domestic and international distributing records for IT solutions, and came to the conclusion that Mikasa Shoji would be the best comprehensive resale partner for distributing @CELL LAN internationally.
Mikasa Shoji is going to be presenting and demonstrating @CELL LAN in the Devicenet USA booth at SecureWorld Expo taking place from Sept. 16 through Sept. 17 in Santa Clara, CA, the U.S.. Following this presentation at the Expo, Mikasa plans to start sales deployment, focusing primarily on Japanese corporations within the U.S. Because communication security is growing into a serious problem in the U.S., Mikasa Shoji and Devicenet USA anticipate @CELL LAN products will be in increasing demand and value in the U.S. For more details, please visit http://www.devicenet-usa.com/en/it_service_celllan.html .
