Mama Theresa's Meatball Eating Contest to Benefit Muscular Dystrophy and the New Windsor Volunteer Ambulance Corps
New Windsor, NY, September 02, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Mama Theresa's Pizzeria &Italian Eatery along with Mama Theresa's Italian Specialties announces their First Annual Meatball Eating Contest. All proceeds will benefit Muscular Dystrophy and the New Windsor Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
Mama Theresa's welcomes everyone to join them on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 1:30 PM at the Big V Shopping Plaza in New Windsor, New York. Activities will include the Mama Theresa's First Annual Meatball Eating Contest, a fire engine from Vails Gate Fire Department, and a car seat safety check by New Windsor Volunteer Ambulance Corps. At 2:30 there will be raffles from generous local merchants including, Minute Man Car Wash, Big V Liquor Store, Overtones Salon, Play It Again Sports, Schlesingers's Steak House, New Windsor Coach Diner, Tanning Hut, Baker's Dozen, Orange County Pools, Healy Brother's, Avocado, Authentic Landscapers, Scarano Chiropractic, Anthony and Pasquale's Barber Shop and Village Paint. Winners must be present to win.
Minimum donation for entry into the meatball eating contest is $15 with all proceeds going to MDA and New Windsor Volunteer Ambulance Corps. All contestants will receive three raffle tickets and a free event t-shirt. Winner will receive a trophy and $250 cash prize. Please call (845)561-6262 for registration information.
