OmniTI Hires Lorraine Bauer as New VP of Sales and Marketing
COLUMBIA, Md. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - OmniTI, which designs and implements scalable solutions for highly
trafficked sites, today announced the appointment of Lorraine Bauer as
Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Bauer's role will include leading
the definition and execution of OmniTI's sales and marketing strategy
for the company's services. She is joining the team as OmniTI looks to
broaden its market awareness while continuing to deliver excellent Web
solutions that add value to its clients' businesses.
Bauer brings a wealth of sales and marketing experience spanning global
Fortune 500 companies, start-up ventures and fast growing companies.
With over 25 years of experience in the technology industry selling into
highly complex IT organizations with many multi-million dollar projects,
she has a proven track record for achieving sustained revenue growth and
leading strong sales teams.
Prior to joining OmniTI, Lorraine held VP of Sales positions at
start-ups including Digital Harbor, where her efforts resulted in a
successful acquisition. She also hails from some of the industry's
leading companies including BEA Systems, where she was VP and General
Manager of Government Business. During her tenure, BEA's Federal
Business revenues more than doubled in just two years. Lorraine has also
held management positions at IBM, Tivoli, Oracle and XSoft, a division
of Xerox.
