IP Infusion Provides ZebOS(R) Middleware for NEC's Service Aggregation Switch

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Aug. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- IP Infusion, an ACCESS company and provider of intelligent software for Next Generation Network (NGN) equipment manufacturers and converged IP service providers, today announced that the company has provided its ZebOS(R) switch/router middleware for NEC Corporation's CX2600 service aggregation switch. NEC's new CX2600, targeted primarily at mobile backhaul markets, deploys a Multi-Protocol Label Switching function (MPLS) based on IP Infusion's ZebOS technology.

ZebOS has a successful track record in a wide variety of network equipment deployed in the global telecommunications market. With its unique modular architecture, ZebOS facilitates the development and integration of networking devices and helps network equipment vendors and operators shorten product development cycles, thereby achieving a faster time to market.
