Video: The Miley Cyrus Stripper Pole Controversy

Some parents are questioning the propriety of Miley Cyrus using a stripper's pole as a prop during her performance on the Teen Choice Awards.

Miley Cyrus is dangerous and subversive, and not because she has a penchant for stripper poles. Miley is turning the nation's tweens into robots who will buy anything with the Miley Cyrus brand.

The stripper pole was mounted an an ice cream truck, but come on a stripper pole is a stripper pole. A 16-year-old girl should not gyrate with a stripper pole in a TV program for children.

Parents should be aghast if their teen girls watch fluff such as the Miley Cyrus show on the Disney channel. I'd rather young girls be fans of Death Metal, than listen to the teen queen.

Parents don't let your impressionable young daughters watch Miley Cyrus, whether or not she's clutching a stripper's pole.
