Rodman & Renshaw Announces Participants for the Community & Regional Bank Panel Discussion at the Annual Global Investment Conference on September 10, 2009
NEW YORK - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Rodman & Renshaw, LLC, a subsidiary of Rodman & Renshaw Capital Group,
Inc. (NASDAQ: RODM), today announced that Daryl G. Byrd, President and
CEO of IBERIABANK Corporation; Donald E. Powell, Director of Bank of
America Corporation and former Chairman of the Federal Deposit Insurance
Corporation (FDIC); Randal K. Quarles, Managing Director of The Carlyle
Group; and William J. Ruh, Managing Principal of Castle Creek Capital,
will participate in a panel discussion on the banking industry at the
Rodman & Renshaw Annual Global Investment Conference. The panel
discussion will take place at 8:00 am on September 10th in
the Adams Salon at the New York Palace Hotel. The panel will be
moderated by Lawrence R. Wiseman of Blank Rome LLP. Craig M. Schwabe,

Daryl G. Byrd is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of
IBERIABANK Corporation and its bank subsidiaries, IBERIABANK and
IBERIABANKfsb. He previously served as President and CEO of the
New Orleans Region of Bank One Louisiana. Prior to Bank One, he held
positions at the corporate level for First Commerce Corporation. These
positions included Commercial Strategy and Support, Residential Mortgage
Lending and Consumer Finance. Mr. Byrd also served in various capacities
of three subsidiaries of First Commerce Corporation, including Senior
Commercial Executive at the lead bank, FNBC, New Orleans; President of

About Donald E. Powell
Donald E. Powell has served on the board of directors of Bank of America
Corporation since June 5, 2009. Mr. Powell served as chairman of the
FDIC from 2001 through 2005 and as former president and CEO of The First
National Bank of Amarillo. A lifelong Texan, he started his banking
career in 1971 with The First National Bank of Amarillo and rose to
president and CEO. He has served on a number of boards and was
previously chairman of the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University

Randal K. Quarles is Managing Director of The Carlyle Group. Prior to

assets and liabilities. Before serving as Under Secretary, Quarles
served as Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for International Affairs
from 2002 - 2005 and as U.S. Executive Director of the International
Monetary Fund from 2001 - 2002.
