Mini-Megacon's Indie Expo set for excitement!
Every year Megacon's Indie Film Expo showcases cutting-edge short independent films in the genres of action, animation, anime, comedy, super-heroes, science fiction, suspense, and horror. With "Mini-Megacon" about to occur on August 22-23rd, a number of films have been selected for presentation which include some of the best films from prior Megacon's and newer cutting edge entries.
The films have been chosen by 3 Boys Productions, the founders of the Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival (MIFF)and coordinators of the Indie Film Expo, for the Saturday night August 22 program at mini-Megacon at the Orange County Convention Center.
Selected films include:

"Brainjacked" by Andy Lalino & Andrew Allan

"Crooked" directed by Todd Thompson
"A(t)tempting Escape" directed by Bill Williams plus more surprises!
As part of Megacon's "Indie Film Expo" program, a panel discussion on filmmaking will be hosted by "Students of the Unusual" publisher and MIFF co-founder Terry Cronin as well. This will feature guest filmmakers and actors including confirmed guests Andrew Allan, Andy Lalino, Katharine Leis, Steven Shea, Todd Thompson and Bill Williams(FMPTA). Other surprise guests and filmmakers are expected. Cronin relates that "this is a unique opportunity to meet and discuss independent filmmaking with the filmmakers themselves."
