Life Extension Still the Only Supplier of Certified Authentic Irvingia gabonensis

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - In October 2008, Life Extension launched a weight loss product which contains the patented Integra-Lean Irvingia, a proprietary extract of the seed of the West African mango fruit Irvingia gabonensis.

Since then, Irvingia products without clinical validation have appeared on the market. However, Life Extension is the only authorized supplier of the authentic, patented Integra-Lean Irvingia gabonensis extract (IGOB131), which has been validated by two human clinical weight-management trials and patented for use in weight, blood glucose, and blood lipid management.

In a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled human study, participants taking Integra-Lean Irvingia lost more than 20 pounds on average in 10 weeks.
