The Customer is Not Always Right
A disagreement between the clerk of a Folsom convenience store and a customer led to the clerk being arrested and the customer being transported to the hospital with a stab wound Tuesday night.
It all started around 7 p.m. when a customer at the Circle K store at 95 Natoma Street called the Folsom Police to report she had been stabbed by the clerk. The victim said after she had complained about the fountain soda machine being out of syrup, the clerk refused her service, which led to a physical altercation.
The clerk ended the altercation when she used a 2"-3" locked blade knife to stab the victim in her right side. The victim's injuries were not life threatening.
Samirrah Walton, 23 years old, of Folsom was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and transported to the Sacramento County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
