First New York Securities Names Four New Partners

NEW YORK - (BUSINESS WIRE) - First New York Securities, a diversified global proprietary trading firm, announced today that Michael Brown, Eric Webber, Stephan Wenger and Michael Schreiber have been named Partners. Mr. Brown and Mr. Webber trade US Equities, while Mr. Wenger and Mr. Schreiber specialize in Macro Rates and Foreign Exchange.

Michael Brown joined First New York in April 2003 after working as a research associate covering Internet and Software companies at Morgan Stanley. He is a graduate of Princeton University. Eric Webber joined First New York in 2008. Previously he worked as an analyst at Goldman Sachs and SAC Capital. Mr. Webber graduated from Brown University.

Stephan Wenger and Michael Schreiber have been instrumental in helping to build out the Macro Rates and Foreign Exchange trading desk. Mr. Wenger joined First New York in 2008 from Graham Capital Management where he was a portfolio manager. Previously he was at Citigroup and UBS where he traded short term rates and currencies. Mr. Wenger was raised and educated in Zurich, Switzerland. Mr. Schreiber joined First New York in 2008 after working as a portfolio manager for SAC Capital from 2005-2008. Previously, he traded U.S. interest rates at JP Morgan. Mr. Schreiber has a BA from Yeshiva University and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
