KG Partners/Tilson Technology Management Win TechMaine Technology Award

Joint Project Named Best of the Web in the Arts and Entertainment Category

KG Partners, a nationally recognized advertising, public relations and interactive agency, and Tilson Technology Management, an independent information technology project management company, announced today that they are winners of a 2009 TechMaine Technology Award. TechMaine recognized balldontliethemovie.com -- a joint project of the two Portland companies -- as Best of the Web in the Arts and Entertainment category. The site promotes "Ball Don't Lie," a feature film that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2008. TechMaine presented the Technology Awards at a recent ceremony in Portland.

"This project is an excellent example of the kind of quality creative and technical work that takes place in Maine," said Josh Broder, president of Tilson Technology and 2009 TechMaine CxO of the Year. "With balldontliethemovie.com, KG Partners and Tilson Technology proved that the capabilities to produce topnotch deliverables for major international industries exist right here in our state."

Since 2002, TechMaine has held its annual awards to honor Maine people and businesses for their contributions to the state's technology sector. The organization described the KG Partners/Tilson Technology project as "a state-of-the-art website created and produced in Maine through a happy marriage of creative design and high technology."
