IKON To Implement Digital Rights Management Solutions Built on Fasoo.com

MALVERN, Pa. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - IKON Office Solutions, Inc., a Ricoh company, today announced that it will add Fasoo.com digital rights management (DRM) solutions to its Premier Partner Program, further enhancing the company's integrated portfolio of document management solutions.

Fasoo.com DRM solutions secure digital information through encryption technologies that limit document access to authorized users. Fasoo.com is a DRM industry pioneer and leader, and its scalable and reliable software controls access to corporate documents including Microsoft Office files, PDFs, CAD files, TIFF images and other popular formats.

Documents are automatically encrypted with the DRM policy when created or downloaded, which dictates who can open, edit, print or save a file, how many times, on how many PCs, and over what time frame. Document usage can be tracked, and the policy can be adjusted over a document's lifecycle or changed at any time.
