WYNNEWOOD, Pa. , July 9 /PRNewswire/ -- WebStudy (www.webstudy.com), a software as a service (SaaS) provider of in-class and online software solutions that go beyond traditional learning management systems (LMS) to enrich the learning process, is now an approved vendor for MiCTA (www.mictatech.org), a telecommunications association of educational, governmental and non-profit entities.

MiCTA will promote WebStudy's products and services to its members and, together, they will make buying the products easier and more cost effective.

"We look forward to enhancing student learning at colleges and universities that are members of MiCTA," said Gisele Larose, President of WebStudy, "WebStudy is committed to student success with unprecedented 24-7 help-desk services for students, the most flexible pricing options for colleges and the latest intelligent tutoring technology for educators."

In becoming an approved MiCTA vendor, WebStudy completed their comprehensive RFP evaluation process, met all the requirements set by MiCTA and has been judged a good value for the LMS service area. WebStudy joins leading companies in other sectors that serve the higher education arena --- companies such as Verizon Business, Sprint/NEXTEL, Qwest, Howard Tech Solutions and Everbridge. MiCTA's higher education membership includes approximately 1,000 colleges and universities, but also thousands of members in other markets, such as K-12, healthcare and libraries.

"MiCTA's extensive evaluation and analysis of our product saves member organizations time and personnel costs," Larose said. "Achieving greater institutional cost savings via MiCTA membership allows everyone to do more with less."

MiCTA has grown from a group of telecommunications directors in 1982 to a national association comprised of members from higher education, libraries, K-12, government bodies and other non-profit groups. MiCTA has continued to focus on quality service and products at outstanding prices for its membership in the areas of voice, data and video.

About WebStudy

WebStudy, Inc. (www.webstudy.com) is a software as a service (SaaS) provider that develops "learning" course management systems (CMS) designed to enrich the learning process. Founded in 1997 by a professor/student collaboration, WebStudy's in-class and online learning solutions ease technology adoption for educators, aid administrators in launching quality learning programs and demonstrate to accrediting bodies that an institution is committed to producing well-prepared students. As the only SaaS provider in the industry, WebStudy frees institutions from extended hardware implementations and its hidden costs, high failure rates, unacceptable risks, and protracted software implementations.

About MiCTA

MiCTA (www.mictatech.org) provides contracted telecommunications services to over 20,000 Educational, Governmental, Health Care, and Institutional non-profit organizations in the U.S. MiCTA's RFP process allows rigorous vetting of telecom vendors and results in service contracts, which assure members the highest quality telecom services at discounted prices. MiCTA's ability to aggregate and define demand saves vendors marketing costs and allows them to offer MiCTA's membership uniform products under their master service agreements.
