Response to Review of 'Dangerous' by Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson`s 'Dangerous' Stands Up As One Of His Best Albums Ever!
I have just read your recent review of 'Dangerous' by Michael Jackson and I have to say that I am extremely glad that you have so many positive things to say about it. It was for a very long time my favourite.
It has always disturbed me how people just automatically discount any of Mike's work after Bad, and often discount Bad too. That train of thought has for one reason or another caught on and I often see people on the internet who say 100% confidently that he did nothing good after Thriller/Bad. In their mind they know this to be fact, despite the fact that they haven't really listened to Dangerous or HIStory.
Personally I still feel that both of these albums are superior to Thriller and Bad.
Perhaps you would consider reviewing HIStory in light of recent events? I personally believe the production on most of the tracks on that album is incredible, and it's Michael Jackson's most personal album.
