Media Advisory: Parliamentarians to Lay Wreath at Charlottetown Cenotaph

CHARLOTTETOWN, PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND - (Marketwire - July 6, 2009) - Members of the Senate Standing Committee on National Security and Defence will lay a wreath at the Charlottetown Cenotaph on Monday as part of a visit to Veterans Affairs Canada's Head Office in Charlottetown. 


Location:    Charlottetown Cenotaph, corner of Grafton Street and
             University Avenue

Date:        Monday, July 6, 2009
 
Time:        2:20 p.m.

During the visit, committee members will hear from departmental officials on a variety of subjects and tour the main buildings of Veterans Affairs Canada.

The committee is chaired by the Honourable Colin Kenny, Senator.
