An airline's in-flight safety video is as exhilarating as watching grass grow; I'd rather read the boring in-flight magazine while the safety video is being screened. I wouldn't have a clue what to do if my plane was about to hit the ground -- the only thing I recall about the in-flight safety video is that my seat can be used as a flotation device.
I applaud Air New Zealand Air for thinking outside the box, and coming up with an innovative way of teaching survival techniques to their passengers.
I have seen the video and it is family-friendly fare, parents who are traveling with their children should allow them to watch the video. There are no naughty parts on display, but it's still a fun video to watch.
