Democrats Arrive at 60 Senate Seats!

Back in 2004, this turn of events would have been nothing more than a fantasy, but your support coupled with our continuous hard work, has produced this joyful day. However, while we take a moment to celebrate together, we must not forget that success can be fleeting and political winds do change directions. Republicans are hoping that we'll relax, content that our current majorities will last forever, but as we look toward the 2010 election we see caution and optimism.
