Residents of Onawa, Iowa, to Benefit From Verizon Wireless Network Enhancements

New Cell Site Means Clearer Reception, Fewer Dropped Calls

ONAWA, Iowa, July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless, the wireless company with the highest customer loyalty, has activated a new cell site nearOnawa, which will enable more customers to use their wireless phones concurrently to make calls; send and receive email and text, picture and video messages; access the Internet; view high-quality videos; and download music, games and ringtones, while enjoying clearer reception and fewer dropped calls.

The new cell site, located near Interstate 29 and Iowa Avenue improves coverage north of the site five miles on I-29, south for three miles on I-29, east to downtownOnawa and west to Lewis and Clark State Park.

These new cell sites are part of Verizon Wireless' continual effort to expand coverage, increase capacity and enhance the quality of its wireless voice and data network in Iowa and throughout the country.
