PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Citing the strength of Northcentral University's (www.ncu.edu) 100% online PhD programs, the Federal Bureau of Investigation's University Education Program (UEP) has joined in an educational partnership with Northcentral University.

Effective February 18, 2009, Northcentral University will offer all FBI employees and immediate family members, including those participating in UEP, a 20% tuition scholarship based on the current tuition rate.

According to Dr. Clinton Gardner, President of Northcentral University, the educational partnership formed between NCU and the FBI is as an educational partner in part because of the strength of its 100% online PhD degree programs. "Northcentral University is proud to be chosen as a member of the Bureau's University Education Program and looks forward to providing every eligible FBI employee with its full support in pursuit of their educational goals."

NCU enjoys a long history of innovation. NCU's School of Business and Technology Management was awarded initial accreditation by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) in 2007. The University was one of only eight schools worldwide to receive initial accreditation and remains the only 100% online institution offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees to have ever received this honor from ACBSP. Today, Northcentral University educates more PhD's in business and technology management than any other university in the United States.

About Northcentral University: Since its founding in 1996 Northcentral University (www.ncu.edu) has pioneered a distinct approach to online Undergraduate, Graduate, and Post Graduate education that is dedicated to teaching individuals rather than classes. Combining the power of the Internet with an unparalleled one-on-one mentoring program, NCU offers students the flexibility to cost-effectively study at their own pace and schedule using their own individual style while receiving personalized attention from course instructors whenever it is needed. Regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, the for profit, 100% online university currently serves over 7,500 students worldwide, offering bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in the Schools of Business, Education, and Psychology.
