SourceGas Names New CFO

LAKEWOOD, Colo. - (BUSINESS WIRE) - SourceGas LLC (SourceGas) announced today that Manjit Cheema has joined SourceGas as Chief Financial Officer.

"Manjit is a key addition to the SourceGas executive team as we position the company to deliver results and grow the business," said Dan Watson, SourceGas President and CEO.

Manjit has more than 30 years experience in various financial roles for utility companies, including Arizona Public Service Company, Tucson Electric Power, Texas New Mexico Power Company, First Choice Power, and Catalyst Energy. Manjit's experience includes more than 10 years as CFO for both public and privately held companies. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from the University of Arizona and a Masters in business administration from Arizona State University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst.

SourceGas has grown by more than 50 percent since its inception just over two years ago, in March 2007. SourceGas has emerged from a start-up operation and built systems and platforms for growth, and assembled skilled personnel to safely and reliably meet its goals for stable and predictable results, low cost and efficient service, and growth in that short time.

As CFO, Manjit will be responsible for the core financial departments of the company, including accounting, treasury, tax, financial planning and analysis, and internal audit.

Ben Breland, formerly CFO, will become Executive Vice President of SourceGas and continue to be a member of the executive team. Ben will be responsible for Regulatory Affairs, Business Development, Risk Management and Customer Care functions including the implementation of SourceGas's new internal customer billing system and call center.

SourceGas is a natural gas local distribution utility headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado, with operations in Arkansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Wyoming and Hermosillo, Mexico. SourceGas serves nearly 420,000 customers and operates 17,700 miles of distribution, gathering and transmission pipeline, as well as storage facilities. SourceGas and its subsidiaries also provide gas transportation, in-home HVAC and appliance service and sales, as well as gas commodity sales services to its natural gas customers.
