Learn Why People Need to Reexamine Their Relationship With the Creator -- New Book Interprets the Essence of Four Books From the Holy Bible Through Inventive Storytelling and Expressions
JONESBORO, La., June 29, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- An engaging review of biblical history and the lessons behind man's relationship with God awaits readers and devout Christians in Citizens of Time in the Exodus, a new book authored by Veda Duff Tohline.
Citizens of Time in the Exodus covers four books of the Holy Bible that are probably some of the least read due to the repetitious descriptions of construction projects, lists of law, and rules for ritual observances. It offers readers a more convenient approach at understanding the mentioned books by gleaning the story of each major character and groups of people. Through inventive storytelling and interpretations, the reader will get a concentrated view of the characters, their relationship as well their reactions towards the presence of God. Ultimately, this release will encourage people to think deeply and reflect about their relationship with God.

About the Author
Veda Tohline grew up during the depression years on a small farm in south Louisiana where each family member was involved in the planting and harvesting of crops. In spite of their poverty, however, her parents were determined their children receive a college education, so she and her sisters commuted by school bus, to Southeastern Louisiana College...a ride of one hour each way six days a week. After graduation, she taught school for three years, then married a young ministerial student and devoted her time to rearing their three children. When the children entered school, she returned to her teaching career. The author found writing poetry a satisfying way of putting her faith into words and it has become, in retirement, a means of communicating with her many friends across the country.
