MEDIA ALERT: Fans Grab 35,000 Virgin Mobile "FreeFest" Tickets in Just Minutes

WHAT: All 35,000 Virgin Mobile (NYSE: VM) FreeFest (www.virginmobilefestival.com) tickets were scooped up in minutes by loyal festival fans, Virgin Mobile customers and other music lovers. The festival, featuring 17 bands, including Weezer, Blink-182 and Public Enemy, will transform Columbia, Md.'s Merriweather Post Pavilion on Sunday, August 30. Virgin Mobile FreeFest tickets were offered for free. Those who didn't score their tickets before they were "Free-ed out" should fear not. There will be another way for people to secure the coveted tickets for free. Virgin Mobile FreeFest and government officials will make an announcement letting fans know exactly how they can earn their way into FreeFest by donating time to charity.
