As Senior Director of Sales and Business Development at Intel, Mr. DeMel developed Intel's Enterprise Computing Division, integration strategy and post acquisition ECD - High Performance Computing and Communications division efforts worldwide and led the strategy enabling Intel to be the largest supplier of enterprise wireless, computing, networking, communications, memory and application specific (ASICs) electronics in the world. He set the vision and worldwide strategy for the sales, marketing and business development efforts that drove Intel's revenue growth from $680 million to greater than $3.4 billion in combined global OEM and channel revenues in a 5-year period.

Mr. DeMel also raised over $70M+ of venture capital funds from 2002 through 2007 that led the building of three of Intel's leading edge companies that are recognized as the global leader in the high performance computing, wireless communications and networking markets while driving the worldwide demand in server technologies.

As the Senior Director at Level One Communications, Mr. DeMel created the partnership between Intel and Level One that led to key partnerships at Intel, IBM, Dell, HP and Cisco that accounted for over half of Level One's annual revenue and led to the $2.2 billion acquisition in 1999.
