Netherlands National Law Allows Marriage for Straight and Gay People
In reference to your story City of Amsterdam Deputy Mayor Gehrels to Address Same-Sex Marriage with Kenji Yoshino, NYU, Boris Dittrich, Human Rights Watch & Ron Zacchi, Marriage Equality New York
The city of Amsterdam is the capital of a country 'the Netherlands'. It is a national law that makes marriages open for straight and gay people.
Mayor Cohen was the just the first person to execute his right to marry people. But one can marry same-sex partners in the whole of the Netherlands,
Just a small correction.
