2 Al-Badr Militants Arrested in Kashmir

Srinagar, June 25: Police on Thursday claimed that two militant owing allegiance to the Pakistan based militant group Albadar were arrested from Kashmir.
A police spokesman said that two Albadar militants Inayatullah Shah alias Illiyas and Khursheed Ahmad Bhat alias Ahad Sahab were arrested near Hyderpora Chowk in outskirts of Srinagar on Thursday. They were in possession of Matrix 1, Grenade 1 and Rs 50,000 Indian currency".
He said during questioning the duo revealed that they are working for Al-Badr/ LeT outfits as courier, finance and were involved in Hawala money transactions. "The duo used to serve money through various channels and would further distribute among the active cadres of LeT and Al-Badr outfit throughout Kashmir. Besides they were also involved in transportation of weapons and other explosives from North Kashmir to Srinagar. They were also providing SIM cards to the active cadres of both the outfit," he claimed, adding, "Further investigations are going on".
