Girls Night Out to Celebrate Romance - New Seminar

Take a Girl's Night Out to Celebrate and Learn How to Fan The Flames of Love and Desire

Join local author as she guides women through a workshop designed to help midlife women rekindle love, spark passion and enhance romance.

Folsom, Calif., June 22, 2009 - Love, romance and sex doesn't need to go to the curb just because you hit midlife. Women - whose romantic lives have fizzled related to lack of a partner, day-to-day life demands or health issues - can learn how to reignite their interest, light their inner fires, and whet their appetites for romance in an enlightening, spiritual and exciting workshop geared toward single and married older women interested in spicing up their romantic lives.

Dena Kouremetis, writer of the Lady Boomer column for Examiner.com and author of the soon-to-be-released book A Smart Woman's Guide to Romance in Midlife, launched a seminar series titled Heartfelt Transitions: A Girl's Night to Celebrate Romance. The "romance" starts on Friday evening, August 21st at the elegant Spa at La Borgata in El Dorado Hills from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Women will enjoy a spa and learning experience designed to create an overall plan for romance from both the inside and out. On hand for the seminar will be skin, wardrobe and life-balance experts to address attendees on looking and feeling great at any age. Kouremetis, also owner of local communications firm Ultimate Communic8or, will lead women through a self-examination and evaluation process geared toward helping singles find love, helping married and single women enhance their appearances (skin, makeup, wardrobe), and create a romantic plan to learn tips, tricks and insight into attracting, maintaining and enhancing spiritual and physical connections with one's mate.

Kouremetis is a long-time writer, a tireless researcher and a hopeless romantic who remarried and found her true soul mate later in life. She believes that love in one's life at any age and a passionate spiritual and physical connection can attract and keep couples happily together and satisfied.
"There is nothing more rejuvenating than falling in love, enjoying a healthy romance, and keeping sex alive," she says. "Whether age 16 or 65, hearts that go pitter-patter when that inexplicably warm feeling takes over are among the healthiest and happiest on earth. Scientific studies suggest that people actively in love can experience stimulation to parts of the brain that affect wellness and can even ward off illness."

They say it's never too late to fall in love or rekindle or just spice up your romance. But is there more to getting love to enter our lives or keeping your relationship "hot" as we get older? Do life's challenges and former relationships sometimes keep us from falling in love or enjoying the love we have?

Hitting the reset button can sometimes be an elusive task for singles and married women. So how can we "set the stage," so to speak, to find someone or keep our special someone connected and happy in our relationship? The answers to these many questions will be addressed.

Heartfelt Transitions seminar is designed to shake things up - to help women realize that there may be some things they've never considered doing in order to either find that special someone or to stack the proverbial cards in favor of a satisfying relationship. The true stories told during the seminar will illustrate, inspire and empower women to go for the romance of their dreams.

Registration for the events is $39.95 per person and available through communic8or.com. It will include limited spa treatments, beverages and light snacks. Spa at La Borgata (www.spaborgata.com) is located at 3905 Park Dr., Ste. 1, El Dorado Hills, Calif.
