One Poly Place to hold Open House June 23
The public is invited to an open house at the new One Poly Place, 107 W. Center Street #3, Sebring, on June 23 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Representatives from the University of South Florida Polytechnic and South Florida Community College will provide information on admissions and requirements. Light refreshments will be served and entertainment (Nintendo, Wii) will be available
One Poly Place is a safe place for middle and high school students and their families to prepare and plan for college, trade school or the military. The center is fully equipped with the technology students need to access all the right information. Mentors can help students discover what interests them the most, set goals for their future and determine the best methods to achieve their goals. One Poly Place has partnered with the U.S. Department of Education's KnowHow2Go program to connect students to national resources.
"One Poly Place is a service that USF Polytechnic provides to help build a better future everyone in Sebring and Highlands County," says Marshall Goodman, USFP's VP/CEO. "Students who prepare now for a fulfilling life journey can find success in many ways."
One Poly Place opened April 30. For more information contact Zach Crum at (863) 386-9162 or toll free at (877) 873-2940 or zcrum@poly.usf.edu
