Turks are after the American Blues Adventure with Yeni Raki!!
ISTANBUL - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Two Turkish Blues lovers set out on a 16-day travel to discover 1400
miles- long Blues Route 61 from New Orleans to Wyoming / Minnesota.
The two adventurers are aiming to discover the true land of Blues
music and to enjoy and introduce their beloved Mediterranean drink Yeni
Raki. On June 5th, the two friends arrived in
New York City and will take Route 61 from Louisiana to the far north
Illinois to visit the birth lands of Blues and Jazz for 16 days. They
will share their adventures and pictures on www.rakiontheroad.com
on a daily basis.
Route 61 Project is named after the Blues highway, Route 61. This
highway starts from New Orleans and continues for 1400 miles to
Wyoming/Minnesota. It symbolizes the American Blues route. The cool but
friendly Blues listeners have inspired Metin Solmaz and Fikret Bekler to
come up with the idea of introducing the cool drink Yeni Raki to the
American Blues lovers. The adventurers will share Yeni Raki, which is
the most consumed anise flavored drink in the world, with anyone who
wishes; because they believe that it is the drink of pleasure, sun and
fun. The two friends' trip will end on June 21st in
Chicago/Illinois.
