New York's "Village Voice" Promotes One Man Bacon Show!

According to the demagogic, media monitoring of all things truly "artsy - fartsy" in the "Big Apple," the "Village Voice," where it takes a village to raise an idiot, we found something that I think will actually interest our loyal Bacon Freaks!
Now we all know that the 1970s Boss Hogg of Hazard County had a bit of thing for "Daisy Duke's" shamelessly short shorts. Well Boss Hog of www.BaconFreak.com has a thing for people who make bacon an important part of our daily lives by bringing it to the attention of the mass media.
That's precisely what another "Daisey" is in the process of doing. This time it is a gentleman by the name of Mike Daisey, whose latest, "hot" show being prominently featured in the Village Voice is cooking up a "heapin' helpin'" of bacon on stage while he performs a one man show, which is being referred to as a sizzling sweaty monologue.
Whether or not the pro protein protagonists following the theories of Dr. Atkins will actually enjoy the show or not is yet to be determined. But, the guy talks a lot about bacon throughout the event, so I figured I owed it to you to let you know about it.
The show is called "Mysteries of the Unexplained: Bacon!" In the monologue, he goes about discussing everything from "trivial elements of the modern world," such as the famous or infamous "Facebook" to the latest, media circus used to present "Swine flu" as just the latest falsehood intended to create world-wide panic and terrific network news ratings, just like the Killer Bees, Bird Flu" and the "Nile virus" before it!
More importantly, Mike will be cooking up a bunch of bacon on the stage while to chats way, so I'm thinking there's a pretty chance that rather than being assaulted by flinging dangers or spewing bodily fluids or refuse like so many artsy New York events off Broadway, this time, the chances are pretty good you might actually get a slice or two of some pretty decent bacon.
