I am grateful these soldiers are not products of the selfish generation admonished by the Belton valedictorian speech.
My daughter was on the floor of the Expo wearing her red gown proudly and cringing at the words from the speech. She later gave him a few choice words which are not appropriate here.
The dichotomy between these soldiers and their lives of sacrifice and the foolishness of the young man on stage, who has yet to find out what life is really about, was amazing.
Thank you Staff Sgt. Ronal Cantarero, Staff Sgt. Thomas Childers and Warrant Officer 4 James Snyder for your selflessness.
Really Grateful Really Thankful
Really Blessed,
Y. Sandlin
