Morrow Institute's Drs. Morrow, Marshak Make Year Book of Plastic Surgery

The article by Drs. Morrow and Marshak, "The Stork Lift : A Circumoccipital Extended Neck-Lift," was originally published in the journal Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. The article details a novel surgical technique for patients with excessive tissue of the neck, commonly known as a "double chin." As the name implies, this technique involves the surgical removal of the double chin by means of extending the traditional incisions and retracting excess tissue from the back of the neck, as the proverbial "Stork" would lift the nape.

The article tracked the surgical results of 25 patients whose average age was 64.8 years of age. The technique was found to provide excellent lifting in all patients without objectionable scars and with the objectionable diagonal bands at the lateral neck which would occur if the incisions of the traditional face lift were not extended in the "Stork" manner.

Dr. Morrow is a diplomate of the American Boards of Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery. He was recently named one of the Top 100 Cosmetic Surgeons in the World by the International Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and is the pioneer of several additional surgical and non-surgical techniques including the Designed Skin Peel and Triangle Lift . Dr. Marshak is a board certified ophthalmologist and a Fellow of the elite American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His extensive training and experience in enhancing both the function and beauty of the eyelids and related anatomy has earned him numerous professional recognitions.
