ABC Cursive Writing was created to help everyone work on their handwriting. The application is fun for children who are learning the basics of cursive writing. It is also helpful for adults who wish to improve their handwriting. The program has many functions and is very easy to use.

For example, the user can practice the lower and upper case ABC(s), numbers and has a way to practice words created by the child or parent. For example, if you want to customize the program to practice a particular word or sentence; the application will allow the child to enter the words at the top of the screen and the program will then present the letters in that specific sequence to create the words.

This is ideal for children practicing their name, phone number or anything that you want them to repeat. The Doodle board allows your child to draw pictures in different colors if they choose not to work on their handwriting. The colors are; red, yellow, green, blue and purple. Other fun features include being able to erase letters by simply shaking the ipod/phone. Our beta testers are suitable for children 3 years and older.

Some individuals with poor handwriting have improved it using the program and have emailed before and after pictures to friends as a testimony of the benefits of ABC Cursive Writing. Taking pictures of the doodle board or letters is as simple as pressing the Home Key and On/Off button at the same time. You do not need a stylus to use this program.

However, to help the user become proficient in holding and using a pen, a stylus that works on IPhones or Ipod Touch units is recommended. This enables the child to practice the movements needed to recreate the letter. All work is erased by shaking the unit - simple and fun to use!
