ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - (BUSINESS WIRE) - Aldar Properties, Abu Dhabi's leading property development, investment and management company, has officially partnered with Scuderia Ferrari, Ferrari's racing division, to become the sponsor of the Ferrari Formula 1 Team Motorhome Terrace.

As part of its sponsorship, Aldar, the company behind Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, the world's first Ferrari theme park, and Yas Island, the venue for the 2009 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Grand Prix in November, will have exclusive use of the terrace of the Team Motorhome at each of the European races of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, and exhibition space in the Ferrari Paddock Club Hospitality Suite at the non-European races.

Ousama Ghannoum, Director of Marketing and Media for Aldar Properties, commented: "We are very proud to be working with Ferrari in what is one of the most anticipated events in the international sporting calendar. The 2009 Formula 1 Grand Prix season is particularly important to us at Aldar as Abu Dhabi builds up to hosting the final race of the year, the first ever Formula 1 Etihad Airways Grand Prix, this October 30 to November 1st. As the developer behind the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, we are delighted to have the opportunity to showcase this and all our other exciting projects including the world's first Ferrari theme park, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. As the world's largest indoor theme park, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will contain over 20 exhilarating rides and attractions - including the world's fastest rollercoaster - under a roof designed in the style of a classic double-curve body shell of a Ferrari GT car.

"Yas Marina Circuit and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will play an integral part in the development of Abu Dhabi as a leading international city with world class sporting and recreational facilities."

The Scuderia Ferrari Team Motorhome, located within the paddock area at all the European Grand Prix races, will give visitors to the Aldar Terrace an opportunity to meet senior Aldar representatives and discuss in detail the many different facets of the company's development projects. Images, models and interactive screens of the projects on display will give visitors a further insight into Aldar's vision for Abu Dhabi as an international destination of choice.
