ARI's Bob Shipp Certified by National Private Truck Council

Automotive Resources International (ARI®), a leading global fleet solutions provider
specializing in complex car and truck fleets,
announces Truck Sales Manager Bob Shipp's accreditation as a Certified
Transportation Professional (CTP®).

Administered by the National Private Truck Council, the CTP program is the
only certification program of its kind in the industry. To qualify to sit
for the examination, professionals must have earned a total of 600
certification points. Shipp filled this requirement based on 38 years of
experience in the industry, a BS degree in Business, general management
experience and through his participation in the National Truck Equipment
Association and the Society of Automotive Engineers.
The CTP program gives fleet managers, suppliers, traffic and transportation
professionals an edge over, and the respect of, their peers in the
industry. To garner the certification, professionals must pass a
comprehensive, two-part exam covering five core areas: finance, safety &
security, human resources, equipment maintenance, and
organizational/operational systems. This test includes a multiple-choice
portion and a written case study analysis.
"Shipp's certification is a testament to the experience and knowledge that
he offers to our clients," commented Vice President, Sales, Joe Frantz,
"His ability to understand complex operational and regulatory issues and
identify and evaluate potential costs and savings best enable ARI to
partner with customers in developing customized solutions
for truck fleets."
