Spanish Broadcasting System Rene Solorio Creates Innovative Internet TV Program
Spanish Broadcasting System (SBS) (NASDAQ: SBSA) announced today that executive René Solorio has become the first young Latino to create a new and innovative television program that is transmitted via the Internet. The program, called "Lamusica.com Live," is also transmitted on Mega TV through DirecTV on Channel 405 and on WSJU Channel 30 in Puerto Rico.
René Solorio has taken show business and Internet technology to a whole new level. Through Lamusica.com, a larger targeted audience can access Solorio's comments, critic reviews and the latest showbiz news from around the world.
"Lamusica.com Live" also has an open chat session on www.lamusica.com for René to establish immediate communication with his followers, making this show 100 percent interactive. "Lamusica.com Live" continues to grow in popularity everyday and attracting some of the most popular artists in the world.

René Solorio was born and raised in Guanajuato, México. Prior to Lamusica.com, René was a news host and reporter for shows on Televisa and TV Azteca in Mexico. He was also an editor for MIRA magazine in Los Angeles and New York and created the magazine concepts for Shape en Espanol for American Media, Inc. He also worked as an Executive Editor for THALIA Magazine in New York and as an Editor Director for TELE GUÍA in Mexico.
René graduated with honors with a degree in Journalism from Carlos Septién García School. Additionally, he was granted a scholarship by the government of Spain's Ministry of Social Affairs to study in one the most prestigious universities there, Universidad Laboral de Gijón, Asturias, España in 1994.
In 2007, after proposing this program to Spanish Broadcasting System, René Solorio relocated to Miami, Florida to be in charge of the "Lamusica.com Live" project as the Editor Director of SBS. It was at this time that René developed what would become the new image and content of its Internet radio and TV sites, as well as the Lamusica.com portal.
