Statement Regarding Arrest of Damic Dokic, Father of Tennis Player Jelena Dokic

In response to the arrest of Damir Dokic, father of tennis star Jelena Dokic, the following statement was released today by her IMG agent Lawrence Frankopan:

"Jelena is very distressed and saddened by her father's arrest. She understands well the severity of the situation. Obviously, she cannot, in any way, be held responsible for her father's actions. Jelena remains 100% focused on her tennis in preparation for the upcoming French Open. We will have no further comment on this unfortunate situation."
