Investigate "Bobby" Sturgell's Rockwell Collins Golden Parachute
Citing the "slippery contrail of corruption of former FAA Acting Administrator 'Bobby' Sturgell who ejected directly into his new aero-lobbyist job with aviation electronics contractor Rockwell Collins" (NYSE: COL):
New York citizens group Quiet Rockland has called for a federal investigation of all conflicts-of-interests inherent in Sturgell's career-transition, and an examination of all government contracts, certifications and other approvals to which Rockwell Collins or its affiliates are or will soon become a party.
Said Attorney John J. Tormey III, Esq. of Quiet Rockland, "With the naissance of the Barack Obama Presidency and the Ray LaHood USDOT Administration, the era of the aero-mercantile swindle is now over. Bobby Sturgell's brazen actions in concert with Rockwell Collins designed to feather each of their respective nests at the expense of the American public, will not be tolerated, and will not stand. Quiet Rockland asks that Congressman James Oberstar and the full House and Senate, the GAO, USDOT, Inspector General Calvin Scovel, attorneys-general state and federal, and all other appropriate law enforcement and investigative authorities with jurisdiction, now undertake a coordinated, consolidated probe of Bobby Sturgell's shameless golden parachute and the Rockwell Collins 'executives' so enabling him.
"As an example, according to an unabashed Rockwell Collins post on their website today, Bobby Sturgell's FAA just certified Rockwell Collins product for intended use in FAA's NextGen Air Traffic System as recently as December 2008, at a time while Sturgell still headed the federal agency but knew he would soon be eclipsed by the Obama administration. The ousted Bobby Sturgell then "resigned" from FAA a month later in January 2009. Then, but three months after that in April 2009, Sturgell jumped into bed with the very government contractor whose product his old agency had just certified. That's an outrage.

"Quiet Rockland calls for this federal Congressional inquiry of the actions of Bobby Sturgell and Rockwell Collins - a plenary investigation as to whether federal or other laws have been broken including without limitation 18 United States Code
207 (Restrictions on former officers, employees, and elected officials of the executive and legislative branches):
"It may take a while. But Bobby Sturgell should be aware that he will be brought to justice for defiling and damaging the American aviation system, and for once again scamming the American public.
