(BUSINESS WIRE) Inovis today announced that John Thielens has joined the company as Vice President Product Marketing. In that role, Thielens will lead the company's Managed File Transfer (MFT) product group and product roadmap.

"Inovis has made a number of investments in its MFT platform and has a unique approach to reinventing how companies exchange data," said Thielens. "The MFT market continues to see solid growth and I'm very excited to be joining a winning team."

Before joining Inovis, Thielens was VP Technology for Axway and was a member of the Office of the CTO with responsibility for MFT technology and vision. Prior to that, Thielens was CTO of Tumbleweed Communications.

"John brings world-class experience in creating compelling enterprise software solutions and is a recognized expert in the managed file transfer market. As we continue to expand our MFT solutions, John's experience and drive will help us reach our goals," said Steve Cochran, Inovis Chief Marketing Officer.

The Inovis MFT Platform provides a safe, audit-friendly way for companies to exchange critical files, masking the complexity of legacy file transfer (FTP) systems and home-grown applications. Inovis is the only MFT platform to take a life-cycle approach to the enterprise file transfer process, saving staff time and getting partners connected faster. Unlike FTP tools and point solutions, Inovis manages the breadth of the file transfer process, across partner setup, onboarding, secure file transfer, exception management, visibility and governance.
