Pets Born Under the Taurus Sign

Oh, my, our Taurus pets too often get a bad rap, that of being a tad lazy.

It's really more that Taurus creatures are somewhat hedonistic, they and we do love all fine things - Plush beds, comfy chairs, thick rugs and long rubs.

Appreciated? Good food, healthy snacks, warm cozy corners to relax in, addition of a soft fuzzy blanket to snuggle into. These are a few of the lovely comforts Taurus gravitates to. That and plenty of love keep a Taurus' heart happy.

Taurus, a creature of comfort, is also one of the most gentle, kind as well as alert. It is easy to see, apparent by their ever watchful eyes. Taurus pets are especially good with children, albeit good children, as is true of most pets. Kiddies can pull and push so long as they stop short of abuse.

Taurus easy actions belie their protectiveness of things they care for.

Most of these are smaller and more helpless than themselves. When threatened Taurus can become quite fierce.

Children are not the only life Taurus can be attached. They are very loyal and deeply attached to their pet owners. They follow you around the house and stay at your feet if allowed, just to enjoying your companionship whether you want company or not. You will find yourself missing this silent yet reassuring presence whenever your Taurus is absent.

While Taurus is not given to great exercise, it will exert energy to be territorial and not hesitate to challenges anything it believes is an imposing presence on its turf. Taurus will share but not allow something to take ownership, other then it's keeper who provides food and safety.

This year is conducive to good health for Taurus. They will seldom require medical attention other then routine checkups. It cannot hurt to pay keener attention to cleaning teeth and ears, the latter more during warm weather when flea season begins.

Summer months are relaxed for your pet who can be at times even sluggish when it gets hot enough. As weather cools, your Taurus will display extra energy and exuberance. Don't count on frisky, but it can happen. More so when Taurus is among a group it knows well. After all Taurus love socializing and enjoys being likeed by others.

When Fall rolls around your Taurus may feel too cooped up inside its home. It may want to be out for a walk or ride just to view the world once in awhile. If weather allows, dog walks or an outdoor feline, chicken, or ferret pen for other pets will be a pleaser.

Your pets will happily return to warm areas indoors after a short while.

Just make certain you do not leave your pet out long enough in temperatures that can cause real chills. Taurus is afer all, a creature of comfort, it needs comfort.
