Stoneware, Inc. Releases Cloud Agent for the iPhone and iPod Touch

Stoneware, Inc. announced today the release and immediate availability of their Cloud Agent for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. The Cloud Agent provides iPhone and iPod Touch integration with the services and applications available through the private cloud created by webNetwork 5.4.

Stoneware's Cloud Agent was designed to simplify an organization's move toward private cloud computing by integrating all cloud applications and services into the native interface of the iPhone and iPod Touch. The Stoneware Cloud Agent becomes the migration point for many organizations that are moving from a desktop-centric to cloud-centric computing model. "We are seeing a significant number of organizations that plan to move to a web-based computing model over the next three years," states Ken Quinton, VP of Strategic Sales for Stoneware, Inc. Stoneware plans the release of their Universal Cloud Agent in May of 2009. The Universal Cloud Agent will support Windows, Mac, and Linux desktop operating systems.
