Military Ballots Should Favor Tedisco

Military ballots could provide Republican Jim Tedisco the winning margin in the Special Election for Congress in NY-20. The Our Country Deserves Better Committee (website: http://www.OurCountryDeservesBetter.com) - one of the nation's largest political action committees - waged an aggressive campaign targeting military families to support Tedisco.

Besides TV and radio ads aired by the Our Country Deserves Better PAC that highlighted Democratic Scott Murphy's poor stands on military and national security issues, the Our Country Deserves Better Committee also reached out to military families to ensure military ballots were cast for Tedisco.

"Our Vice Chairman, Deborah Johns, is a Marine Mom whose son is serving in the War on Terror. We thus made a special effort to reach out to military families to ensure that Tedisco would win the military ballots cast in this race," said Kelly S. Eustis, e-Campaign Coordinator for the Our Country Deserves Better Committee.

Eustis is a resident of the 20th congressional district who oversaw Get Out the Vote efforts on behalf of the Our Country Deserves Better Committee.

The Our Country Deserves Better Committee has already spent over $156,000 in the Special Election campaign, supporting Republican Jim Tedisco and opposing Democrat Scott Murphy.
