Sierra Wireless USB modems available from CSL in Hong Kong

    1O1O Next G(TM) Express 21 and 1O1O Next G(TM) Express 7 USB modems,
    manufactured by Sierra Wireless, to provide high-speed mobile broadband
    connectivity for notebook computers

VANCOUVER, March 31 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - March 31, 2008 - Sierra Wireless (NASDAQ: SWIR - TSX: SW) today announced that CSL Limited, the leading mobile network operator inHong Kong, has selected two Sierra Wireless USB modems to provide high-speed wireless connectivity for notebook computer users on the CSL network.

The 1O1O Next G(TM) Express 7 (also known as the Sierra Wireless Compass(TM) 889), an HSPA USB device supporting downlink speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps (megabits per second), is available today through CSL's retail brand 1O1O, and enterprise channels. In addition, the 1O1O Next G(TM) Express 21 (also known as the Sierra Wireless USB 306) modem for HSPA+ networks will be available in April through CSL's retail brands 1O1O, One2Free, and enterprise channels to provide leading edge mobile broadband connectivity on CSL's new HSPA+ network. The 1O1O Next G Express 21 is capable of download speeds up to 21 Mbps on an HSPA+ network, the fastest available on any mobile broadband network in the world today.

HSPA+ network technology significantly increases mobile broadband data speeds, reduces latency, boosts network capacity, and provides a better user experience. The higher bandwidth supports the more data-intensive applications people commonly use on the Internet today, including video and music downloads.
