Stay in Jehovah's Word
I used to be a Jehovah's Witness
Dear Stuart Tryon,
There are tens of thousands of us out there. I'm so sorry for you and your family! I must say though, please don't throw the baby out with the bath water. I'll tell you what I did when I came to my senses after leaving the Organization.
I decided that the Bible was true and that I wanted to know it and Jehovah without the Organizations filters i.e., Watchtower, Awake and the rest of its publications. The end result for me was, after about continually studying the Scriptures...I became a Christian. The theology that sprouted from this is nothing like the approximate 25 years I lived or believed as a JW.
I guess what I'm trying to tell you is, stay in Jehovah's Word but in complete context, not the pick and choose theology that the Organization filters with its publications. God bless you and your family!
