Abandoning Common Sense for PC Expediency vs Terrorism
In a mad rush to appease the liberal wing of his electorate Barack Obama and the Democrats are quickly moving to shut down Guantanamo Bay terrorist detention camp, severely disable the CIA's ability to question likely terrorists and end military tribunals for alleged terrorists.
Certainly an argument could be made that some changes may be in order, but more importantly are Obama and the Democrats already turning a blind eye to the terrible lessons of September 11, 2001 as well as the later attempt to blow up 747's flying from the UK over American cities or the recent atrocities against countless innocent civilians in India?
Before sitting down with "moderate" extremist leaders or the Iranian leader who has publicly called for the destruction of Israel, perhaps Mr. Obama and his group should speak with some families and friends of the casualties of these still ever so likely attacks against humanity. Those who forget history are condemned to repeat it but now the possible cost is far too high.
