Rey Ronquilio, Certified Personal Trainer, Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

Honolulu, HI, March 10, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rey Ronquilio, Certified Personal Trainer and President of Vital Fitness, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of physical fitness.

Mr. Ronquilio is a National Bodybuilding Champion. He is the founder of the Stingrey Classic, a bodybuilding, fitness, figure and bikini contest. He has experience as a district fitness manager for several 24-hour fitness centers in Hawaii and is the athletic director at the exclusive Honolulu Club. He has been president of Vital Fitness for 18 years and is considered an expert personal trainer by his peers. His fitness knowledge extends from body composition changes, anti-aging, and bodybuilding to flexibility, posture, and corrective and performance training. He attributes his success to hard work, a positive outlook, dedication, consistency and an ability to keep an open mind and learn every day. He is most proud of putting on a national qualifier bodybuilding and fitness contest that gets the community involved. He was named Mr. USA Lightweight Champion in 2003, NPC Masters National Lightweight Champion in 2002, Mr. Big Island Overall Champion in 1996 and Hawaiian Classic Overall Champion in 1994.

Mr. Ronquilio received his Associate of Science in Liberal Arts from Honolulu Community College in 1982. He is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Council on Exercise, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, the International Fitness Professionals Association and Apex Fitness Inc. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Apex Fitness Inc. Mr. Ronquilio is a member and sits on the advisory board of the Exercise and Sports Science Program at Kapi'olani Community College. He also sits on the board of directors of the Hawaii Association of Fitness Professionals. Mr. Ronquilio aspires to conduct fitness contests for children and to educate and inspire them to get involved in health and fitness.
