PHOTOS: MND-B deputy commanding general for support visits Doura Market

BAGHDAD - Brig. Gen. Frederick S. Rudesheim, deputy commanding general for support, 1st Cavalry Division and Multi National Division- Baghdad, speaks with Capt. Michael Thompson, of Vienna, Va. commander, Company C, 1st Battalion, 505th, Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, currently attached to 2nd BCT, 1st Armored Division , MND-B, while walking through the Doura market. BAGHDAD - Pfc. Kyle Hayden, of Valley Lee, Md., Company C, 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, currently attached to 2nd BCT, 1st Armored Division , MND-B provides security during a patrol through the Doura market. As the 1-505th PIR Soldiers patrol the area, residents from Masafee shop for groceries and other goods while supporting the local business owners. There have not been any reports of serious violence in this area since the 1-505, PIR Soldiers began patrolling the area three months ago. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Daniel J.
