Response to Cat Stuffed in Bong Story
This "Cat Stuffed in Bong" story is getting wide play via the prohibitionist press, and one should understand why.
Every article except the last describes this kitten as being "STUFFED" into a bong. Now even us stoners who know bongs would be outraged by such a treatment of an animal, without knowing more.
The "more" to be known is that this was no ordinary bong, but a homemade, bong-type device the size of a shoebox, in which a kitten could easily fit, without stuffing. The whole tenor of the first four articles, all mainstream press, is of prohibitionist outrage at the cruelty caused by this derranged doper.
Inevitably, the whole panoply of tearjerking animal sympathy is evoked by this trashbin of hack journalism, coordinated by a local prohibitionist fascist prosecutor. Medical examination of the cat to check for cannabis-caused "damage", associated animal cruelty charges, the impossible "possibility of felony charges" if the cat should die, the confiscation of the kitten...
It's exactly the same prohibitionist show trial evoked when cannabis consuming parents are arrested.
And, as usual, none of these articles stated the number of cats who have died in the last 5500 years from cannabis overdoses......0!
It's all hack, prohibitionist-mindherding journalism of the very worst sort, and despicable!
