In this novelette (all names being fictious), a Russian mini-submarine gets grounded in Stockholm archipelago, as a result of instrument failure, exactly on the midnight when U.S.S.R becomes Russia. Its captain Yuri meets a Swedish girl and settles in Stockholm.

International terrorists try to kidnap Yuri, to sell him to foreign powers, because of his knowledge of sattelite communications, but fail. Terrorists are caught by the police and get a prison sentence. Yuri finally meets a Russian billionaire and is offered a job as the captain of his yacht. International adventures follow one another.

At the end, Russian billionaire`s yacht is turned into a Russian restaurant in Stockholm.

On Yuri`s birthday party in the yacht, terrorists whose prison sentence has ended, turn out as uninvited guests.
